Ok, it has been a while since I have posted about doing a "get together" but I think I have a date that will work. Turns out William (TM Golf Guy 182) will be staying with me in July for some Studio B and some golf possibly along with Pure745. So, I was thinking we should do this get together to properly welcome some other WRX'ers into the area.

Here is what I am thinking:

When: Saturday, July 11th
Where: The Bog, Morningstar, or The Oaks (although the latter is a bit far)
Who: anyone who wants to come up to WI


Let me hear a show of hands. I think I will make this into a more official thread once a few people say they are in for the date. Also, there will be a vote on teh course too. I'd like to try and keep it somewhat reasonable as not to limit who comes.

The Chicagoland outing is on the main "Golf Style - Courses, Clothes, Shoes, Bags & Outings" forum. We might get a few more hits if we move this topic there. I know that i probably would have never seen this thread if ramylson hadn't pm'd me. Just a thought.

I know that Pete has been really busy with finding a job right now, so he's not on that much. I'll try sending him a text message and see if he's still planning on this or not..

Sounds great. I'd love to come up from Chicago, but my daughter is in a play that weekend and my in-laws are in town. It was great meeting you at the Social last weekend.

Sorry I haven't been all that active lately. Still active in the job search, but some things are starting to fall into place (hopefully). The 11th might be a crunch to get it in for me. I am now thinking like late july/early august. I really apologize for dropping off the face of the earth lately, I was hoping to have more of my life figured out by this time when I originally thought of it.

Regardless, i want to meet all of you and have a nice day out on the course. I'm going to consult my calendar and come back with a different date and hopefully be able to put it in stone from there. I apologize if this is inconveniencing anyone.
