Planning on stopping at old silo in a few weeks with a couple of friends on our way south. Just wondering if anyone had played there, and what you thought of it?

I've played it several times, NICE course and TUFF!!! Not much room for error off the tee. Lotsa heather! Golf ball eater.

Seen pics on their site. It looks like a lot of risk and reward type of holes. I better stock up on balls!

I live in Louisville and it is a 100 mile trip to Old Silo. We usually go at least once per summer. Graham Marsh designed it. Very nice layout. One of the top courses in the area. Have fun, hit it straight!!!

Thanks for the pics! I called and made a tee time for next thursday. It was only $29 after 3. That is cheap for a course like this! The greens look like they could be tuff. My home course greens are fairly flat, so this could be interesting.
