signing up for summer tournaments i was asked to fill in my handicap index. i payed no attention to this at first but then when i played for the first time in weeks i wondered: should i still use my handicap from the end of last year? i was a 3.7 last year but now i don't think i can break 80 even if i career it out of my mind. what handicap should i tell them for some up comming spring tournaments?

Use the latest updated # for summer tournament entry forms. So, in your case, use the # from the end of last year if need be.
