Is Sergio the second coming of Colin Montgomery? The entire world is out to get him. It's everybody else's fault but his own. He never gets any of the breaks. Ryder cup star who will never win a major. Etc, Etc, Etc.
hahaha ooooo i cant wait for this! he is such a jacka*s! can't wait to see how hes going to blame this on something other than him. I really don't like him
Yeah, that was why he finished so far out of it, ball marks. I can't stand Sergio, and I needed another reason to not like him like I need another hole in my head. Way to go Sergio.
Sergio ought to be glad golf is a game made up mostly of gentlemen. In other sports when the competitors got tired of listening to him they would just retaliate,in golf not so much. A couple of head high fastballs, extra hard check on the boards or a little elbow to the ribs in the paint and he would learn to STFU! IMO Todd
they kept showing him on Friday or Saturday and it seemed like every shot that didn't come off they way he wanted was somebody else's fault. All he did was complain. Sick of seeing it.
Typical crybaby. Seems like he's an ok guy when things are going his way, but as soon as they don't, the whole world is against him and everything is so unfair. They are gonna tear him up in NY.

Good point. I think they should tie him up 300 yards out on a driving range and let every pro take a crack at him with a drive.
what an a**--especially since he didn't win us a free driver. wonder what he will say if he ever wins at augusta? "i love augusta! i was just joking guys!"
Maybe he won't accept the invitation next year, and give somebody that actually has a chance a shot at the title!!
Go ahead Sergio, I dare ya to keep gripping the club again at Bethpage..........bash Balck as well, but do it after the 1st Rd.....
Well you can if you consider he is not being honest with himself and taking responsibility for his on play. With Sergio it is always someone else's fault. There is a difference between speaking your mind and thinking the whole world is against you because you didnt prepare and perform to the level you want to perform at.
Funny thing is this is certainly not the first time this has happened with Sergio, he was skewered the first time and he is still not smart enough to learn from he previous errors. He has just thrown gasoline on the fire.
Whilst he doesn't have a monopoly on bellyaching after a poor performance, he seems to roll out this sort of tired stuff with monotonous regularity.
I'm sure the vast majority of competitors would describe this year's Augusta set-up as very fair. Undeniably difficult; but fair nonetheless. -12 won the tournament and there were more players under par than in any Masters of the last several years. The number of low scores that were shot through the week are ample evidence of the fact that a good score was achievable with the right set of skills and a positive mindset.
I realise english isn't Garcia's first language but why he seems unable to master the phrase 'I simply didn't play well this week' is beyond me. This sort of mardy whinging does him absolutely no favours whatsoever.
Anyone remember what number his caddy's uniform was? I didn't get to watch most of the Master's...was too busy playing golf myself. The caddy numbers are based on the order of arrival, last year's champion is always #1.
Sergio has had some bad luck of late. I still can't believe that putt at carnoustie to win didn't go in, and then he loses another tough one to Paddy at oakland hills. Everyone likes to think they would be the epitome of class and they would always say the right thing if they were a pro. But look at some of the responses over time on this board. Most of us are as big a jerk as Sergio is. I'm sure we all complain at our jobs that so and so got the promotion ahead of us blah blah blah
hopefully when sergio wins his inevitable major (he's 28 and has been in the top 10 for years). He will calm down and behave better with the press
Sergio "rips" Augusta National and blames the course for his poor performance. Nice to see Paddy say his comments were "baffling".
Sad really. When there were birdies to be had everyday, especially on Sunday it was a birdie fest where the game's top duffers went out and put on a show for the fans. He just couldn't put together 4 good rounds. In fact, when a lot of guys, Tiger included, didn't put up anything in the 60's until TODAY says how the course was set up and how fair it was. Yes, one additional reason not to like Sergio.
He drives me crazy. On 16 on Friday he flies it all the way to the back right pin position. Hits the stick and stops on the back fringe. If it does not hit the pin, he is almost certainly over and in serious trouble. It was definitely a good break, but instead he just gives the pouty face and body language that when he hits the pin, it does not stop dead but leaks over. Completely pathetic. You could tell Verne was holding his tongue.
I am surprised that neither Olazabal nor Jiminez have slapped him around at some point for his antics. Maybe they have and he just cannot be changed. Perhaps this time Billy Payne will give him a call and gentlemanly dressing down for complaining about the course.
I like hearing when players say whats on their mind. Its good for the game to have a bit of personality and people say what they want to say not what we want to hear
