I also hate it when courses have crap for yardage markers. Every course should have at least 3 poles, one for 200 one for 150 and one for 100 but instead they get lazy and put a blue/white/red mark in the fairway somewhere. I shouldn't have to walk around looking for sprinkler heads to tell me I am 100 yards out.

the worst?? you bomb a drive....feel great....then you look down the fairway and see some shlepp from two fairways over drive his cart right to your ball....look at your ball....looking up at your tee box thinking " this must be my ball" and he preceeds to take your ball.

I played at a little par three course last week. Hitting two balls, I hit two 100 yard shots to 2 feet on one hole, then blade/shank one off the trees on the next hole. WTF??

Two days later, perfect 110 yard shot to 14 inches, next shot is a hosel special at the poor sheep grazing over the fence. Where's the pepto bismol at, I feel sick...

I'm surprised the world is still here considering how many presidents have been golfers. Russia talks smack to me after a day of shanks and the world might be on fire lol.

Multiple wedge shanks. My personal record was 4 in a row (almost a full circle around the green).

choppers that hit a 210 yard drive on a par 5 then wait for the green 330 yards away to clear before hitting their second shot.

I hate my attitude on the course, which is usually bad as a result of waiting forever to hit. Last year I walked up to a fivesome of huge guys and told them that if they spent more than 5 effing minutes looking for their effing ball on any of the last 10 effing holes i was going to start using them as effing target practice.

I'd really like to be able to chill out a it- but 3.5 hours for 9 at my course happens all of the time and it drives me nuts.

As far as what I do? I can't putt, I hate hitting 15 greens and shooting 78 because I can't putt.

I just experienced another great "Thing I hate on the golf course". I went out and played this afternoon and the course was pretty tight. Nothing too bad but whatever. So the 3 some I was paired up with was waiting on the tee for me and we all look at the group ahead of us, it's a father and his 2 sons ages probably 6 and 8 on the tee. No big deal right? Well he is teaching his sons how to play which once again I don't mind BUT he is letting them hit EVERY SINGLE SHOT! These kids hit the ball 10 yards, they drive up and hit it another 10 yards. Then another 10 so on and so forth. The father even looks back and sees that there are now like 3 groups waiting for him but he proceeds to continue, not picking up the balls or anything. The marshall even saw this and joked with us saying "You should ask him if you could play through. hahaha"
