Me and my playing partner are trying to play just about all the OKC area courses that are worth playing. I was wondering if anyone has played Surrey Hills. If so what's up, good, bad, or average. I have played Riverbend in Chickasha several times and I know the same guy owns both courses, so are they comparible? Thanks.

Surrey Hills on a scale of 1 to 10; I would rate it a 6. Upkeep is minimal, fairways are minimal, rough is minimal. What saves the course from total disaster are the greens and the greens fee. The greens were recently replaced and play very smooth and very fast. The greens are small though. The price is fair for the track they provide. Play at dusk or with a coupon for under $15 including cart.

Thanks. Thats kind of what I figured, that is similar to how I would describe Riverbend until the last year or so. The greens are in tough shape. Its a shame they used to be quick and very challenging to putt with alot of undulation, when the floods came a few years ago they got beat up pretty bad. Hopefully they will get them back this summer.
