Well I start my new job as an assistant next week and will be meeting with the TM rep over the next week or two. I will be getting a staff bag, but my question is this. For those of you who have a staff bag, do you find that the full size bag just gets to be too much sometimes? I have noticed that in the TM TMX staff bag, there is a smaller option. Pretty much gives you the look of a staff bag but is a bit smaller.

DO NOT get the TMX T2 bag (which is the smaller bag) get the full staff bag, I have played with a Staff bag for the past 5 yeras and would never go back, it's full and i need every single thing in the bag, there is nothing worse than being in a Tournament needing something and not having it on you. If it was my decision it's pretty obvious that I would be takeing the Staff bag, having clubs jam up while pulling them out or putting them into my bag is a huge pet peeve. I'm never the one carrying it so it doesn't really matter to me if it's 5 or 50 pounds.

I may just have to disagree on the previous post. While I have never owned a staff bag, my playing partner uses one, and I use the Taylor Made GTR Cart bag, which may be last years version of the T2. Anyways, I can't imagine ver running out of room in this bag. My buddy's staff may have a little more storage space, but it seems like it weighs twice what mine does. I also noticed that because of all the extra space, he tends to keep more useless stuff in there, like old scorecards, candybar wrappers, 5 too many towels. I would check out the bags in person if you can, but don't think you will ever run out of room with a TM cart bag.

I have the smaller staff bag and love it! There is plenty of room for everything you could possibly need and it isn't ridiculously heavy, either. You can still fit it onto a cart alongside another bag, too. I noticed several TM Pros at the Honda had the smaller bag, too. You would never have known if it weren't right next to a full sized one.
