Tai,

How would you compare the Fuji Pro95 TS (or just the reg Fuji Pro95) vs SF i95?

I love my SF i95, but if Fuji Pro95 (or TS) is lower launch/spin it'd be a win-win. If not then I'd stick with the SF. Just wish testing these type of shafts was easier than making an expensive educated guess...

I did a review on them, just search my created topics.

Update:

My wife literally just said "I don't remember the last time you actually played golf"

Pretty much sums it up   :vava:

Sounds like an invitation to get out there!
Sounds more like, "honey, I really need you to get outta the house. Why don't you go and play with your friends". That's when you KNOW the honeymoon's over.

It's been a while since I've updated this or posted on WRX..

2017 has been a really rough year.. which reached it's peak a month ago when I lost my father.  Words can't explain the void it's left but it has also changed my perspective on a lot of things.  This year with golf has also been rough - after my surgery I really haven't had the amount of time or ability to golf and enjoy the game in the ways I've grown accustomed to.

I was definitely on a path towards giving up the game or at least taking a long hiatus until a great friend and I decided to take an impromptu trip back east to PA.  It was a much needed break from all the stress and grief I was dealing with when my dad passed and really got me back in touch with golf and disconnecting from the real world.

My handicap has gone from a +1 to a 3, and I can shoot anything from 69-83 on any given day.  These days, getting out with friends and relaxing and seeing my wife and son when I'm done takes precedence of any overly serious amateur golf.  I've withdrawn from every tournament but our Member/Member this year with a health or family issue.. so it's be really tough, just typing this brings back some really high stress situations and shows me how long the road to truly heal from certain situations truly is.

Along the line, I can truly say that I've met some of my best friends through golf and it truly is a vehicle where my dad's legacy and times I've had with him will never be forgotten.  It really has put into perspective the type of father and role model I want to be to my son.

I have met some true life long friends through GolfWRX and really can't thank you guys enough :drinks:

So on to the golf part as my game is starting to come around and my head is starting emerge from the fog :)

It's amazing how east coast golf in the fall with caddies and no houses or traffic to distract from the pure enjoyment of playing golf can remedy the soul  :)  It was a great getaway from what my version of "golf" was - listening to country club BS and politics and first world problems mixed in with all the real life stuff I was dealing with definitely was good for me to get away.

Re: golf equipment - I'm using the Callaway stuff I was fit for at ECPC, my old faithful 716CB/MB with Vokeys and Fujikura graphite shafts.

I'm probably going to be looking at the Mizuno, Callaway, and Titleist stuff and will assemble a new version of what I already have as I've been loving the graphite shafts  :)

Thanks for reading, hopefully no more life related curveballs for me and more WRX  :)

And if you are ever out in the northwest suburbs of Chicago, hit me up. Would love to play a round of golf!

Not to mention Philly Cricket has 2 teams in the top division of the Golf Assoc of Philadelphia team brackets and another nipping at the top brackets heels.  For those not familiar with GAP, it is tough to have one team, let alone 3 up there.  They have top notch Am's there.
