Pure, know you said your TM 750 had 120S hs 1, have you ever hit the 120TX? Played 120TX for a over a year and testing 125X currently, but have noticed some pain in left elbow with 125's. Wondering if it's the stiffer butt section. Know the 120's feel better. Just wondering how the Fuji's compare to the 120's?

Meh. Too much hassle. I would have to remove adapter and tip it another inch just to consider it for testing.

I've played the 125, 120x, 120tx, and 130's.. they all tended to spin a lot for me, but were my preferred shaft in terms of feel.  Hard to compare the Fuji's to the steel shafts because they are so much lighter, 95g vs. 120-130g, but they load really nice.  I can't tell a huge difference in weight when I swing, but when I waggle it's noticeable.  The results have been great, and the impact on the joints is much less.  I would say they feel like the 120's but lower spin.  I've had them out in the wind a few times now and they've performed well.  It's strange to see the ball stay as high as they do and not balloon, but I can also flight them if needed.  Just strange seeing them stay so straight in the air.

I know the question wasn't for me and Tai plays a stiffer flex, but I would say the Fuji 95 is very similar to the Modus 105 in terms of both feel and flight.

Never hit the 105, but I'd assume the 120,125, 130 to be lower spin, and as crazy as it sounds, the Fuji's are better in the wind than the 125's and on par with the other two if not better.  Also, I'm not sure how the stiffness is affected, but they all come in the same length so you can get them to CPM to the flex you need.  I'm not a professional builder, but it seems to make sense as my builder was asking how stiff I wanted them relative to my current X7's.

Yeah, hotmelt and I think lighter weights in the back.  Also, a -2 degree adaptor, so playing 7 degrees but setup to hit high launch and low spin.  Really liking this driver a lot!

Nice! That is too cool. It took a long time to get away from my 16 M2, but now the EPIC is just incredible.

We should all take a moment and thank Tai for making graphite iron shafts cool!

Due to joint pain and aches, I have gone back and forth between graphite and steel for years.  Right now I'm using DG 120's.  They do beat me up compared to the Steelfibers and Recoils I've used in the past.

So far, my favorites have been SF i95 Stiff soft-stepped once and (gasp) SF i80 REGULARS (There goes my posting status...).  ;-)

I think the SF are nice shafts, but if the Fuji 95's are smoother and have more feel, then I need to try some for sure.  I'm in the "buy to try" situation, but I do have a set of TM P770's that need a set of shafts.

Might have to pull the trigger on a set.  :)

If Veylix made a proto irons shaft I bet J would have to tinker with them .  After 18 months in the SF 110 I doubt I’ll turn back to the steel side of things.

Ease on up there cowboy. Jury is still out on coolness ;)

Ha!  Well played!  :)

Wait, he's got a MILLION views!?  ;)

Might take 2M to make graphite iron shafts cool :D

Honestly though, the only cool thing in golf is playing well.  If I had to use senior flex graphite shafts to do that I would in a second.

If Veylix made a proto irons shaft I bet J would have to tinker with them .  After 18 months in the SF 110 I doubt I’ll turn back to the steel side of things.

They have them already, Veylix Copper Mod.  Expensive but I've hit them and they weren't as good for me as what I'm playing.

The 718 lineup is solid, I've hit most of it (not AP1). I didn't really notice any difference from last AP2/CB/MB iterations. I haven't tried the MP18, but they look great.

Tai,

How would you compare the Fuji Pro95 TS (or just the reg Fuji Pro95) vs SF i95?

I love my SF i95, but if Fuji Pro95 (or TS) is lower launch/spin it'd be a win-win. If not then I'd stick with the SF. Just wish testing these type of shafts was easier than making an expensive educated guess...
