I have a nike 460 ignite with aldila NV coming in the mail tomorrow. Since i have ordered it i have demo'd the taylormade R5 stock and 905T with NV. loved the r5, hated the 905T with NV. the NV in my ignite will be reg and the one in the titleist was a stiff. i did not like the feel, was that bcz of the stiffness? also, i am wondering if i should send it back and get something like a cleveland comp, R5, or g2 or 454. any suggetsions/thoughts? please help! first post here!

Hi bgizzle,I have the clev comp 460 w/a irod xstiff shaft.Awesome club.Don,t be put off by their xstiff.The swing speed for that shaft is between 95-105mph.Happy hunting.

Wait until you get your Ignite then try it out over a week or so, just to confirm whether or not you like it. If you dont the r5 is a great driver and maybe also look at an FT-3?? But I would test the Ignite out first because they are great drivers.

I just read over at BSG that ball the ppl LOVE it so i will prob be keeping it. the problem is that if i hit it i cant get full value

That NV shaft is a good shaft but it is not for everyone. It has a high kick point and a stiff tip. So if you have a low ball flight this shaft will make it even worse. If you swing speed isn't over 95mph than I would not recommend a NV stiff.
As far as the Head goes first find the shaft that best fits your swing and then get the Head to fit your style and Look. Al the heads out there are good heads and have alot of COR the trick is to find one that suites your eye and one that you will have alot of confidence with when you look down at it. The shaft runs the club that is why there are so many different types of shafts out there. The hard part ifs finding one that is right for you.

what weight ust v2 shaft did you use? do you feel like you are maximizing your distance with this set-up?
