Is he cool or what? Ever since he won the WGC match play the other year he has been one of my favorites. I got a chance to see him play during one of the practice rounds at the PGA championship at medinah. This guy is cool like the other side of the pillow. Just the way he carries himself and swings the club, so loose, so smooth. After watching him this week i think he might be my favorite golfer. anyone else feel the same about the guy?

Thats definitely a good way of putting it. I kindof like the lack of emotion he shows, he's like a silent assassin or something.

I'll bet if one gathered up all of the grass clippings he's made in his career and put them all together, you MIGHT have the beginning of a divot. :D :D :D

No one besides Nicklaus picks the ball that clean - amazing. He also hits his irons on a very Nicklaus-like trajectory.

I love Ogilvy's attitude. CHILL.

I have enjoyed watching him even before he won the U.S. Open and WGC events. I always thought he had a pretty swing. It's funny he is such a cool customer now but in his early days he had a temper it is amazing how well he has dealt with it.

I love his tempo, his attitude, his Puma gear, Aussie accent, and he is handsome.

He is one of my favs, by far. I am routing for him tomorrow.

Fun player to watch with a great swing. I think it is interesting how he just brushes the ground and like never takes a giant divot.

Very solid player. He is kinda boring though sometimes. Little emotions while out there. Great tournament though thus far by him. I think he wins tomorrow for sure.

Seems like he likes the match play haha. 3rd time in the finals, yeah wow! When he makes contact the ball makes a different kind of sound...

Same here. I kind of like the fact he's "boring". Just watching a guy go out there and tear everyone a new one while staying calm is refreshing. I followed him last year at the Shell Open and his swing is even smoother in person. I think he'll win another major this year.

I can't wait til they replay that one, I've been recording PLwtP for about 6 months or more but that one hasn't popped up again yet.

I'm surprised that they didn't give this guy more credit going into this event on the golf channel. I never heard his name brought up once and he's won or finished 2nd three out of the last four years.

he's one of my favorite players, and is one of the players most likely to be the next solid #2 player in the world.

but he's not exactly a marketer's dream. He kind of reminds me of (for you basketball fans) Tim Duncan. He has one face, and i'm pretty sure i've seen him do a fist pump once, though i may have dreamed it

I really love the way he accelerates the club so effortlessly through impact on his iron shots.

Moe Norman used to hit irons off of the practice green at Augusta and not leave a mark.

So cool you could keep a side of meat in him for a week. 18 holes always looks like he's just taking a leisurely walk, and just casually hitting a ball now and then, with little concern about what happens. But man, when he's in the zone, he's just a machine.

Ogilvy is soooooooo boring!

I hate him because he makes golf look way too easy.

I love Tiger because he is so exciting and yet he makes it hard for himself........

.....having to hole a 15 footer on the 18th of the US Open to force a play off........with a broken leg and one knee?!!!

Definition of AWESOME!!!!!!

I love Ogilvy because he's so controlled. I think many many players can take a leaf out of his book and curb temper (not completely kill it like a robot). Geoff is by no means a robot, far from it, but he's still a very controlled person. That's what I love about him. And I just love the way he putts. Read the putt. Take a practice stroke. Trust. And then bang. Perfect. I know that being an Aussie might make me a little biased, but that's just the way it goes!

I know in Ogilvy's interview they asked him why he loves matchplay so much and he couldn't really say. All I know is that he's had a lot of practice down here playing Pennant where it always goes down the line.

Phenomenal play this week by Ogilvy.

Andy Bean on the Senior Tour picks the ball pretty clean too. I watched him at Sonoma last year and he played amazing.

Very solid player when he is playing well. He is definitely not going to be flying under the radar anymore.
