I'd check the Jan Craigs out, if memory serves me right they let you pick the strips, numbers, letters, etc...

And they're made by little old ladies to boot... :clapping:

My wife's Callway Big Bertha driver cover is really nice without the pom pom on it, kind of like what you show without them also. I decided to just use an old black sock and sewed the ends up a bit so the heel is at the curve by the hozel. It doesn't look too bad but will be light, low profile, and not scream the club brand and model...something I dislike about all the new OEM headcovers. Post an update if you come up with a good source.

what?!! umm i didnt place an order i was just designing it. only prob is they dont let you see the finished product. its says you can, but it doesnt show up. also it doesnt have a price. but if youre saying the wait is that long, then im just gonna forget it.

I was referring to mttrout's black sock. Sounds kind of funny. I was thinking of dyeing a white sock pink for jokes.

read the thread, he already said he did not want rockettour...

Jan Craigs are better made anyway.. go with those. I have 4 sets and they last a long time. Expensive yes and you have to wait a little bit.

kewltubes seems good, but the way yo order there is odd. you just type in a blank line what colors and then wha club its for. defintiely cheaper than an craig. but i am skeptical they might not come out how i want and i am not sure they will let me put my name on it. jan craig e-mailed me and said i can do 4 letters if i chose. thanks for the help

is there a cheaper alternative to the hand-mades listed here? They are nice, but $30 each seems like a lot when you can get a nice set of matching OEMs that protect the clubs alot better.

All right, here are my sort of homemade headcovers. The 4w is just a black sock sewnaround the foot and heel areas. I took the Titliest headcover (coming apart) off and did the same thing.

I prefer the low profile, lightweight, and covert look but don't know if I'll keep this or buy some socks and remove the poms. They are also snug enough they won't slide off. What do you guys think?

Thank you for posting this, I looked at some of funk'd golf gear last year. Some cool stuff. I forgot what I was looking for, but anyways, I got some pink and red ones coming. Not sure if I'll like the pink ones, but it will be fun to see the look on some of friends faces, hahaha.

The socks look good too. I'm not that creative.

post some pics of those covers when you get them, they look interesting and for 10 bucks a pretty good deal.

reminds me of Happy Gilmore's gym sock covers, lol.. I lost a bet back in high school and had to play 18 with my own socks on my clubs... good round from what i remember.. :)

Got my funk'd headcovers in today, after almost 3 weeks. Great looking, however, I'm not thrilled with the fit. Looks like you could fit a 600cc club in it. maybe that's the way it's supposed to be, and i've never had any of these. we will see if they work out. I'll post pics in the am.
