I hear a lot of rumblings going on with Silo Ridge (amnyeville sp? - NY). The word on the street is that they closed the course and are building a golf getaway resort type of place. Including a winery, stores, banquet hall, AND REDOING the course. I heard Ernie Els is helping with the redesign. I loved playing this course! It was my favorite course and everytime I went there I had a great day. It is about 1.5 hours from me, but I felt the trip was always worth it.

When do they plan on being done with this project? Is the info above correct?
Will you need to be staying at the resort in order to play? What type of prices can I expect? (It was very resonable at $65-75 a round. I hope they don't jump to above $100!)

Anyone know the story with them? Or any more information?

http://www.siloridge.com/ is still under construction.

Thanks for your help guys

Sorry for little offtopic but I did a doubletake when you said Silo Ridge which is also my home course but it's in Bolivar, Missouri.

If you need to know more info, maybe you can give them a call and see what's going on?
