I typically wear 9.5M in shoes, the pair of Tour 360's fit abit snug, my Dryjoys Pro's fit perfect and I'm swimming in my new POD's. I can wear the pods, but I have to wear 2 pairs of socks. From what I gathered from talking to the guys at GG and GS, is that every shoe 'last style' (pattern for the side panels) is different.

So my questions are, has anyone had this problem and would buying inserts help my swimming issues? If so, what kind of inserts did you use?

Thanks,

I've used an 'athletic' insert a la Dr. Scholl's from Walgreen's. Not wanting to sound patronizing, but did you try 'em on before purchase or buy online? If it's the latter, why not go back at the seller and tell them what your problem is and see what they might do to help resolve it? Just a thought.

I tried them on at the store and they felt awesome, but I didn't want to pay the $140 tag, so I found the same pair on the 'bay for $85. They felt great as did the ones in the store. Leather does have the habit of stretching a little and after walking two rounds it was really noticeable.

I will find some sport inserts and give a whirl.

Unfortunately there are bills to pay or I would be 15 miles south of where I currently sit and would be walking beside Freddie or DLIII.

check the width of the shoe? adidas makes a W or XW in almost every size.

I've had the Tour 360's for about 2 years and I just wear thinner socks with those dogs and all is good. If I buy Adidas agian I'll check out the W as well.

Not to worry, inserts will take care of the fit. Try some gel if you can find/afford them, similar to what FJ uses. Very comfortable and conform to the way your feet move.
