My friends and I are heading out to Vegas from LA for a bachelor's party in April. About half of the group wants to play golf but since some of the guys are beginners, they don't want to shell out too much money for green fees. One guy suggested playing golf in California on our way to Vegas to keep down our costs. Does anyone have any suggestions as far as a decent course on the way to Vegas from LA? If not, any recommendations for a course in Vegas for under $100 in April?

You might get a rate of $100 at Primm, the Lakes course is amazing, Desert course is nice also.

I second Primm Valley. It's right near the Cali-Nev border.
