I'm thinking about replacing the stock VS Proto in my Idea Pro....it's an ok shaft but I find it a little light and a little vague feeling for me.  I've had good success with steel shafted hybrids and was looking at the KBS hybrid shaft and wondering how it played.  If anyone has tried this shaft, please post some feedback please.......

I hard stepped KBS 5.5 tapers in my 19° and 21° TM TP hybrids.  I love the feel.  I had the Reax shafts and had the KBS put in 1" shorter.  It took my hook to a draw and I have not lost any distance.

I decided to order a KBS hybrid (S) shaft for the 24* hybrid.  Tipping instructions only go to 22* (2")....

Should I tip it the 2"? 2.25"? 2.5"? for this 24*

Any advice would be helpful.  Thanks guys.

Did you get that from fburggolfctr? I have a tour issue 22* on the way. Thinking ZZ65.  KBS sounds great though. Smooth and high launching.

I put one into a 21 degree FT-iz hybrid about 6 weeks ago. The club feels much heavier, but it is very stable and feels like hitting an iron now. Been very happy with it and now intend to put it into the other hybrids.

Cool, thanks.  Anyone have suggestions on how much I should "tip" this?

I have one in my Tee 17* hybrid.....its a stiff that we tipped 2.5" to bring it more to the xstiff range....its amazing.  Replaced a stock xstiff rip shaft because the ball ballooned with the rip shaft....now it is just long and pretty.......255ish all day long.....if you do replace it you may need a strip or 2 of lead tape for swingweighting purposes....but you wont be sorry.....its bloody fantastic
