Following a month off during which he went “back to basics” and made some equipment changes, Johnson followed up a T6 at the Mercedes Championship with his fifth career win on Sunday at the first full field event of the season. Johnson finished with a 5-under 65 for a 15-under 265 total and a two shot win over fellow FootJoy players Adam Scott (Classics Dry Premiere) and David Toms (DryJoys Traditional) who tied for second at 13-under.
