Going on my golf trip in March to Tapatio. Most of the guys have been. What's the course like and the resort? Website is hard to tell only a few holes. How's the course condition

Nice course, water, very pretty setting, a little off the beaten path. 3-nines.....the Ridge was my favorite.

Some of the lodging was a bit dated, but certainly adequate. Quiet area.

It's in a very pretty setting with deer and nice hills everywhere but the accomodations are a bit dated as a previous poster mentioned. It got beat down pretty bad with the drought last summer and isn't in that great of shape right now. It has gotten a little better with recent rains but still isn't like it used to be. Still a very pretty, relaxing place. Axis deer everywhere.

We ended up going last weekend. Turned out to be ok. The ridge nine was in pretty good shape. There were axis deer everywhere.

I went a few months back. The drought damage to the course made it almost unplayable. We have had a lot of rain since then so hopefully it is better. They should have closed the course during the drought it was a dirt field.
