My favorite graphite shaft is the s.i.x. for the driver. It ikicks it high and  goes straight for me. I don't think I've found the perfect 3 wood shaft yet. The six works well, so does the nvs, still looking there....

I will vote for the Fuji 660tr for the driver, and the pro 95 for the 3 and 5 wood. Boring same old thing. Seems to be popular around the forums. Not the most original but I have tried many other and come back to these.

Nothing is better than a Fuji Pro 95 in the fairway woods.  My favorite driver shaft is the Aldila ProtoPype 60-X and you don't even tip it!

Joe claims there is a Driver shaft that fuji makes that is old but the WHIP. Cost 450 per shaft.

My vote goes for the 660TR XX untipped in the driver and pro 95 in the fairway woods, however, and don't laugh, I recently picked up a 580XD Tour that had an Accuflex Evolution Nano-Composite (orange) shaft in it. I was prepared to pull it and throw in my fav fuji but ran out of time. I thru the driver in my bag and flew out the door. To my surprise, I pounded the piss out of this thing. It's not as smooth a shaft as the fuji's but for distance...this thing is crazy long. It's is 10 yards longer for me and extremely accurate as well. It's had several workouts since and I just can't get myself to pull the thing. I gotta say that for an $85 shaft, this thing is awesome.

Stay tuned......

I'd have to go with the 660 and the 771 all-time for the driver.  Fairway woods would have to be trti and Pro-95.  Everytime I try to sway away from the trti to something, it jus comes back to me.  I have one in a 18* tour V-steel and it is the most reliable club in the bag.

The SIX X tipped is a perfect shaft for my ss and 'load' and I have it in my J340 and V-Steel tour 13 and 21.

I have just begun experimenting with a ShaqX in a 580XD TP tour 9.5.
The ShaqX is a very smooth tight shaft that I can really go after without worrying about spinning it right or left.

Two very different shafts but both very good.

For the Driver, just about any Fuji that starts with 6.  652, 660, 693, etc...

For the FW, it used to be HK Pro 80 but lately since it is a lot easier to obtain 757s, those will do just fine for FW.

I've always had the 771TA in my drivers. I just switched to the Diamana 83 and I like it even better. Just a slightly lower trajectory.

I wish I knew  ... I can only seem to find a couple I don't like.. I am very much a shaft ho.. I put a new one in and go.. wow..unreal distance, great feel... hmm wish it was more accurate(hmm if a tip it an inch that would work, but if I try the 75g that might have a bit more torque)... put another in and go..ahhh the fairway, boy I wish it was just a few yards longer... and repeat this again and again... :(

My favorite drivers shafts are the NV 65-X and the Evolution, fav 3 wood is the Pro 95 or 869.

Evolution - justification! Its one of my favorite shafts of all time - specs out real well, loads perfect & is super consistent

I will never play a woods shaft without a HK-Pro 80.  The driver shafts are another matter.  660, CP-02 are timeless but, there's always a new kid.  HK-Pro 80 will always be in my woods.

I've gotta say the 660TR in the driver is the sweetest thing I've hit to date. Paired with a 510TP TOUR head, I can't imagine a more solid feeling club at impact. Awesome

The 10.5 R7 TOUR failed miserably with the Diamana ION 73, but I'll be trying the 7FTB, 660TR, and Diamana ION 63x in it over the next month. The 660TR 510 is staying in the bag for now though.

Have to agree on the 671 and CP-02. Both are great shafts. Really like the Diamana 73 too.

671 speeder!!!
To bad this shaft is not in production anymore.

Tie on the FW w/ speeder 764 and TW74. I would have to pick 764 for the feel and TW74 for tightness.

Joe :(
