I think they got it pretty right. A couple thoughts come to mind as we head into the Hawaii tourneys....Steven Ames was a little high on the list. If he wins a couple times or disappears from the leaderboard for the year...not as interesting as what happens to some young guys in 2009 like Andres Romero, Bubba Watson, Bill Haas, Will MacKenzie, breaking through? fading? etc.... (nevermind the young guys who are great already)
As a fan I do like the "story" each guy brings with him. Not sure Ken Duke, Steven Ames, Billy Mayfair, Steve Flesch, (while all EXTREMELY GOOD GUYS and very likeable), have a story that's more interesting these days than these young dudes. That said...Rocco Mediate was WAY TOO LOW on the list. "Players to watch"....Rocco is top 10 easily?! Awesome to watch! Personality!
Overall, I can't wait for the season.

I can see your point on Rocco, he should be higher on the list, #69 is a bit low, but I've got to disagree, I think top 10 might be a little too high, top 20 perhaps...
When I first saw the list, I was hoping for something more like you described, a top 100 list of "up & coming" players..

Not sure if others would agree, but I would put DLIII on that list. I know, I know, I am a big fan of his which may skew how I see it, but I think to end the season on the right foot could give him back a lot of the confidence he lost from his knee surgery. Never underestimate him.

He is on the list, and I agree 100% I saw his play at the Children's Miracle Network tournament this past November and he was extremely solid.
