I ordered from kewl tubes. they were super friendly and I picked the colors I wanted (blue, green, and white for my school colors). I ordered them a week before black friday, and thought i would have a long wait, but they produced a quality cover in two weeks! they had an amazing service rate.

Jan Craigs are much nicer but cost more. You do get what you pay for though.

Rocket Tour is my choice. I have used Jan Craig covers recieved as a gift way before Rocket Tours were around, but the JCs are expensive and take a long time to recieve. The Rockets look cleaner (less buly or home made)they have a nice fit, the color choices are numerouse enough to work with any bag and they are less expensive. Knowing this it made my choice easy.

As a knitter, the JCs are way expensive for a really easy project with minimal material costs -- worse as they are buying the stuffs in bulk. JCs are still using 100% wool -- the new washable wools (bit of acrylic in there) have come a long way in terms of durability, stretch, and bounce-back (return to original shape). As for the turnaround time, knitting up a headcover isn't something that can be accomplished in an hour or two. The most time is required for the sleeve; the head is a snap. As others have said, durability of any knit item is largely a function of how you care for it.

I have 3 sets of the Jan Craigs and love them, i actually look for clubs and bags to buy just so i can order more sets to match.

I like the Rocket Tours , but i have to give the nod to the JC's.

Just ordered my 4th set to match my Mizuno bag. 4/1/09

man i wish there was a headcover w/ the quality and durability of JC's but look and colors of the rocket tours.  My rocket tour driver cover is a few months old and is falling apart already.  I spoke to the owner Helena and she asked me to email their sales staff.  That was a week ago and still no response from them.  ack....

Check out "The Scottish Knitter" As good or better than both. Many options and custom designs accepted. Reasonable price. They come lined or unlined.

Rocket Tour.  Have not had any issues with durability and I've had mine for 16 months or so.  Plus, every Jan Craig I've ever had or seen has had major issues with falling off the club.  Not so with the Rocket Tour.  Put them on and they stay on.

I have a real old JC set and wanted a back up set for my . . . . back up set.

Ordered from  "Classic Headcovers " and now the JC are in a bin in my closet and I have 3-4 sets of these on everything.

Be aware , they are crazy thick and heavily contoured and detailed if your looking for something on the light side.

I have a bunch of Rocket Tour fairway covers with holes in them.  I don't know how they get there.  My Jan Craigs have had no issues.

In Rocket Tours defense, they have always been very good about replacing them.  I also hear the newer ones are thicker & less prone to holes.

Travis Headcovers are as good as Jan Craig

Rocket Tours are not custom made and look a little cheap (for what you are paying)

I've had several set's of Rocket Tours and no question they're fine headcovers.  Helena is a pleasure to work with and their customer service is second to none.  And, if you can get in on one of the promos they run during the year it's an even better deal.  I decided though to get a couple Jan Craigs for my driver and fairway and keep the Skinny Stick for my hybrid.  I always thought the pom on the Rocket Tour was too small for the widebody head on my Burner TP and it made it look like a pimple on the end of the cover lol.  Plus, even though the RT color combo's are great, they didn't quite have what I wanted.  So, I ordered the Jan Craigs in the combo I wanted, both with the 8" poms and they look great with the RT Skinny Stick.  No question the Jan Craigs are nicer covers but they're also more expensive.  I'd never had a set before and I can't believe how thick and well made they are.  Well worth the extra dough and the 30 day wait.

Just ordered my Jan Craigs almost the same colors but added a foruth color to the Pom.

Was so hard to decide with all teh colors.  Started with White but figured would get dirty, then yellow but wasnt sure how far out it would look.  Settled on Black - classic.

Have a TM Driver and FW so trying to see if i can locate a Tm logo patch and put that on.

Cant wait!

here are mine.  I love the Rocket tours and so far have had no issues with durability, etc.  A great company to deal with and their customer service is top notch!  To give a bit of context, I have not had any experience with Jan Craigs, so I cannot compare the two, just talk about how i enjoy RT.

Never had JC's but my RT's are three years old and the only problem is they're a bit stretched out.  Will be getting some replacements soon.  Just wish RT would update their awful web site.

Well I originally voiced my opinion in this thread without seeing the competition. My set of Jan Craigs came in the other day, and they are MUCH thicker. The Rocket Tours actually feel a bit more elastic though. They are both really high quality, and I don't think you could go wrong with either.

rocket Tour by far is the best, I was owner/fan well before I won a contest on this very site for Rocket Tour.  I looked for a long time before discovering the Rocket Tour, starting golfing in the early 70's with the pom poms was a must. Love the quality and colour options.  I'm a true believer!

When i can afford them, i'm going for JC's.  I have two RT driver covers and each have issues w/ breaking yarn.  Note, i have maybe used them for one season.  For the money I spent, I'm pretty pissed.  I've called and e-mailed Helena (owner) several times now w/ no reponse.

Same as my Rocket Tour driver cover.  I must've bought it less than 6 months ago and it already has a pea-size hole a couple of inches above the sock part.  Disappointing, considering it was about 30 bucks.  My Skinny Stick is holding up well...must be the 460 driver that stretches the yarn on the driver cover.

I'm gonna pick up a Jan Craig as well.  I've come to like the knitted headcover look, but like some of y'all been saying: you get what you pay for.  Thing about Jan Craig that I should've seen the first time (before I went with RT) is that they have no problem fixing any headcovers that haved been ripped or damaged.  I searched the RT site and looks like I'll get no help...
