I always take my glove off whenever there is a wedge in my hand.  There is something about really wanting to feel the club to control the distance.  I think its definitely more mental because when I am angry about a bad shot i forget to take the glove off and i hit the shows the exact same.

I always take off the glove to putt, I get better feel for the grip. I also take off my grip for chipp and pitch shots.

I take my glove off for anything inside 30 yards. It really helps improve my touch on and around the greens.

My glove comes off when I putt and in between shots.  I like to keep my glove off as much as possible that way it doesn't get sweaty.  I tend to go through gloves fairly quickly.

Before this season, I used a glove and never took it off when I putted. One day at the start of this season, I forgot my glove(s) at home, so I played without. Haven't used a glove since. So you could say I went from one extreme to the other in 4 hours :kewlpics:

It's something I have to remember to do.  But I'm getting better at remembering, since my stroke is MUCH better with the glove off.  I really have more feel.  Heck, putting is the area of my game that's best right now, any improvement at all will help lower my score.

MY hands sweat so badly that I need a glove for most shots...but paradoxically I need to remove the glove between most shots, so that the glove doesn't get soaked.

I carry two  gloves, I sweat in the palms and hands so badly.

Thanks for the genetics, dad.

I usually take the glove off for less than full swings on approaches and putting.

I never wear the glove to putt. I don't wear it for wedge shots of any kind. Also, I take it off in between shots; I find that it helps me relax and then when I put it on before each shot I can concentrate better.

I always take my glove off to putt.  It's definitely a feel thing.  I think I've definitely left it on once or twice if i'm playing through or something.  It kind of lets the glove and the hand breathe, espesially on a humid day

I take my glove off to putt, but I could never understand why everyone places the glove in there back pocket with the fingers pointing up. Seems to be too much hassle for me, so I just place it in my side pocket.

Glove off. I don't like wearing on but it's pretty humid down here and I need it to keep a good grip. Between shots I take it off to try and keep it dry. I don't want it on while putting or chipping.

It doesn't bother me to putt with it on.  In the summer time when my hands sweat alot I rotate 2 or 3 gloves and hang them on the cart roof post to dry, so I do take my glove off when I do that.  If the glove is not too sweatty I just leave it on all of the time.

I dont play with a glove, I play corded grips and sand them down with some sand paper to bring out the cord a bit more. I like the feel of a heavily corded grip, even on my putter. I know if I can feel the cord in my hands I'm not holding the club too tight.

I leave it on. For me the lower hand controls the speed of putts (claw grip) and the upper (gloved) hand just steadies the putter.

I sweat a lot as well, so unless there are 6+ gloves in my bag, I'm forcing my hand back into a sticky glove on the next tee if I take it off to putt. No thanks.

Take it off now. I don't know what I was thinking earlier. :(

I take the glove off.  Better feel, but I get mentally primed when I take the glove off (kind of my pre-shot routine).

Never tried taking gloves off . I am always busy thinking about shots , distance & carts near the green.
Will try this  with less than 100 yards . I think it makes more sense with wedges to get an exact feel of  club for an accurate ball flight & distance .
Anyone not using the Glove with irons and driver ?
