Thanks for the review on the GG lesson! Iím a big fan of his and have been working on his stuff for over a year now and Iíve definitely seen improvements in ball striking. An in person lesson would obviously be best but with me being on the east coast just isnít in the cards for me. Kinda real surprising though range balls arenít included with the lesson...not sure on the cost but Iím under the impression itís about $400 an hour. I know heís in the LA area but címon...canít include range balls, thatís very off putting.

No joke. That wear was after about 15 balls.  Im a bit irked as I read that the black boron was pretty durable.  The finish on the face of the 7iron is almost completely gone.

Latest failed experiment with the MC-501's.  Going back to the CB-57's and still on the fence about getting fit for 2nd gen PXG's s.

Being a JDM dude, I think you owe it to yourself to give the 2016 PRGR RS Forged if you're going to go 2ng Gen PXG's.  It's a hollow head (with flash fill) but has the JDM look and buttery feel.  Very blade like at address with the forgiveness of a cavity back.  The sole seems to interact well with all kinds of turf.  Picked up a mint set at Dunn (of all places) and even hocked all my Miuras and Legacy Blacks to get a second set online.  Just be prepared for the crazy distance you'll get.  These weren't advertised as distance irons but they are just as long as my buddy's P790's but feel and look so much better.

/\  Thanks for the recommendation.  I'm playing the CB-57's now and cant find anything else that I feel comfortable with.

Do the PRGE  really look like this at address?

Now I just need to find a set. :to_become_senile:

Sure does!  Looks better in person too.  It's weird, I expected it to have a thick top line and be more of a midsize in length but it's pretty blade like (toe to heel).  The top line will be slightly thicker than a blade but it's rolled and nowhere near being off putting.  Believe me, if it doesn't look good at set-up, I ain't hitting it.

Yes, I tried the PRGR at the Demo Day for the PGA Merchandise Show and that's how they looked like.  And their driver is really, really good as well.
