Just curious.

Im a water and fruit on course. Usually oranges or apple slices.

I walk every round so i can indulge occasionally after a long day at the course. Usually some Chipotle or Donatos.

Luckily i have one of the best restaurants in the city next to the course. So if its a really good round, NY Strip and Baked potato from Hyde Park here in Columbus, Ohio.

During recreational rounds I'm a sucker for a good cheese burger. In the SF Bay Area, my favorite on course burgers are the cheese burger at Sharp park, the Kobe beef burger at Eagle Ridge and in the summer time Gleneagles intl. has a great burger. Post round I'm game for any decent steak house, Maggiano's Little Italy, P.F. changs or a barbecue at home. I just made a ridiculously good fillet with grilled zucchini and sautéed garlic mushrooms, so at the moment I'm partial to my own cooking.

I rarely eat anything during a round, and usually an hour or two before. I feel I get bloated and it can affect my swing.

I'm quite lucky in that I can shut out the hunger thoughts.

But after the round, bring it on!!! English breakfast all the way!!!

I don't usually eat before my round, especially if I'm playing early in the morning. So, typically it's either a banana, or some type of granola/trail mix bar along the way.

Should the times work out and I make the turn close enough to lunch, its usually a burger or dog...or a grilled chicken sandwich, really depends on the course and what looks good.

Post round it's usually whatever is cooking at home.

And as always, I carry a water bottle, refill as needed/available. Once in a while I grab a G2 or the Powerade Zero. And of course the occasional beer or G&T, but that's a rarity.

Banana or peanut butter sandwich. After the round I'm all for wings and a pitcher of beer.

Usually I go for the big hot dog at the turn, but I think I might try the peanut butter sandwich ...I hear PB is good for keeping up energy, etc. is that true or something our moms told us when we were kids?

Isagenix 'Isa Delight' chocolates, usually one before the round and several during. They're expensive at around $1 a piece, but full of amino acids, they claim to give energy, improved focus and a mood/emotional boost. I find them very effective combating the mid round tiredness and emotional fatigue that often plagues my game. I also use their 'Want More Energy' sport drink mix with bottled water, and do try to drink at least 2 bottles during the round.

After the round it's whatever's on the specials at the bar, usually soup and a sandwich.

I'm a big coffee drinker but find coffee prior to a morning round doesn't mix well. I just can't put my finger on it but my scoring ability just goes down the toilet. So now prior to a morning round I'll drink a Monster energy drink. I've played some pretty good rounds after drinking a Monster, and again I don't know exactly why but my scoring ability is greatly improved right out of the box.

I discovered this after working an all nighter on the railroad. On the way to the course I could barely keep my eyes open but had a little match planed and didn't want to cancel. So I stopped at a convenience store and picked one up. I wasn't quite sure what to expect and kept waiting to feel jittery and anxious but that never happened. I felt great and played great.

Any round in the afternoon, which is quite often during league season, I'll take my favorite drink to the course. A diet Dr. Pepper.

An after a league round it's always a cold Yuengling draft with Wings (or maybe a burger or Philly).

A good bar-b-qued HOT DOG is hard to beat. I really like the ones at Bodega Bay and Poppy Hills. They are a good size, grilled perfectly (no splits in the skin), and have great hot dog buns toasted perfectly. Easy to hold on too and won't over-fill you up like a greasy cheeseburger.

During the round a powerbar and/or granola bar, with a 32oz vitamin water or powerade zero, I fill the empty bottles with water.(during the summer its 2-3 of the 32oz vitamin waters) Post round usually bar food burger/hotdog/pizza etc washed down with a jack and coke(s).
One of our high end grocery stores sells kobe burgers and they are fantastic so sometimes we will grab a few of those fire up the grill drink a few beers and throw some horseshoes.

I like a 10th Tee bar at some point during the round. If I hit the turn around lunchtime, some type of sandwich, whatever it may be.

I'm a type 1 diabetic and especially if I'm walking 18 (typical) a mid-round snack is almost required.

As stupid as it sounds, I eat a tuna fish sandwich before I play. During the round I pack some almonds and water or Gatorade. After a round, a pint and cow in some form....burger, steak, tri-tip or carne asada. Works for me!

I am very partial to nature valley granola bars during the round. A solid breakfast is usually my pregame meal (peanut butter on a chocolate chip bagel with scrambled eggs being my absolute favorite). I drink plenty of liquids during the round, usually a gatorade and then refill it with water once or twice.

And Taco Bell is a must afterwards.

Usually some form of fruit before the round, natures valley bars and H2o during, and any good meal post...good burger or something grilled usually comes to bare.

I also can't drink coffee before I play. Me with a good dose of caffeine and no food is not a good combo. Two weekends in a row, I went out and shot a 95 in the morning when all I had was a triple espresso - had some lunch and a beer - went out and shot 83-84 in the afternoon, walking the whole time!

I keep a full water bottle and will drink a Gatorade Tiger at the peak of summer. I like to carry a couple of Clif bars in the bag to have around the turn. My home course has an orchard that borders a few of the holes so you can grab a pear or a few apples when they are in season, right off the tree. Those apples are amazing!

My favorite meal after a round is a Heineken and a tuna melt on wheat with a salad and bleu cheese dressing in the clubhouse. Filling, delicious, and healthy-ish. I always feel great after walking 18 and eating that afterwards!

Hot dog at the turn, then stuff my face after the round! I'm always starving by the time i get to the clubhouse, especially if i have walked the round. I'll try not to do coffee during the round unless its cold. Also, sometimes i'll have nuts in my bag if i forgot to bring cash for the cart lady :)

Gatorade and cigars on the course, maybe a beer during a social round. Chew (SKOAL) if too windy for cigars

Beer or something with vodka after the round and "pub grub" in the club house

I walk often so a banana, grapes, Clif Bar during the round keeps my energy up without suffering a sudden crash at any point. G2 or water to drink.

Afterward burger, tacos, whatever I can load up on.
