I'm planning a two-week Hawaiian golf vacation in March '09 and I'm looking for some course tips and suggestions for those that have been there.
A few details.........It's a 14 day vacation of which I'm only going to golf 7 rounds. Every other day spent with the wife and daughter. My 12 year-old son is going to try and go out a few rounds with me so junior rates are nice but not a necessity. I'm probably going to stay on Oahu. I was to Kaui last time and unless I have a once in a lifetime chance I'm going to stay on the one island. Here's some links I've come across but I'd like some more suggestions.

I went to Oahu in May and found a lot of information/help in the Hawaii section...

Be sure to ask them some questions, they are a great group of guys and if you are lucky (and I truly mean that)...you might be able to convince a couple of them to play a round of golf with you.
There is also some course review info here....

Have a great time and if I can help with any info, please ask. Ko'olina is a very nice place but expensive. Koolau was great....some of the best scenery ever. Turtle Bay was a great course but certainly lacked the "hawaiian" feel. I would say Royal Kunia is a real diamond in the rough....before I went, I couldn't find much info on it but it was actually pretty nice...great views, great layout, and was in great shape. Honolulu CC was also a nice course but I'm not sure if it is easy to get on there for the public.

Thanks very much for the info. That's exactly what I was looking for. Last time I was there I spent some time in Princeville and Turtle Bay, no golfing though, so I'm going to stick to places I haven't been this time.
