Looking to go away beginning of April with the wife with San Diego being a destination of interest. If anyone has experience or suggestions in or around this area could chime in it would be greatly appreciated.

We're thinking 4 nights, 3 or so rounds of golf. Maybe Sea World or the zoo and if I'm lucky a Padres game.

In san diego there is so much to choose from. It depends on what you are looking for and how far you want to drive. You have options like Torrey Pines, Aviara, East Lake, The Vineyards, etc. Where are you staying and how familiar are you with the area?

Stay at the Marriott in downtown SD and go to the 22'nd floor bar that sits atop the hotel and you'll be looking right down into the Padres stadium. Coolest bar that I've been to in a while! When it comes to golf, there's the obvious, Torey's South Course, Balboa GC and Coronado Island. They're all very close.

I just visited SD, played Admiral Baker, North Island Air N Sea, and Coronado - all three very good and reasonable.
