I realize this picture is of the previous bag with alterations to make it appear red instead of silver but this is from a website purporting to sell this bag as an 09 model. Anyone know if the 09 bag will look like this instead of as this years model? Incidently, it's pretty cool isn't it...?

So I emailed the company and here's the response I got:

Chad,

You are correct. This is a new updated bag for 2009. It is now called the
Titleist Midsize Staff Bag. This new bag is scheduled to start shipping
next week (November 18th). The red accents are legit. I know it is hard to
believe that the other sites are wrong or are just not showing the current
bag, but I have seen this bag first hand. Thank you for your email. Be the
first to sport this great looking bag. Here is a quick link:

Looks like the s-84 staff bag? I've already tried it - and I've got to say, I didn't really like it. I must admit the looks alone make this a desirable bag, but the functionality isn't up to scratch compared to the older model. Not much room in the side pockets, umbrella sleeve that is too angled. But my real gripe was with the dividers. Not much room and constant club snagging.
It's a great shame, because as mentioned before, it looks great.

I have the above bag and no, there is no putter slot. It just has the typical six way divider.

For what you are gonna pay for that, I would just order the S-83 9.5" staff....I have one and it works great on a cart, either my push cart or a riding cart

I have the midsize, too. Plenty of room for everything, just no separate putter well which is my only complaint. Top is 9.5" I believe.

I really like the belly storage area, that's where I keep my Bushnell 1500 TE laser when it's in my car so it is protected.
