Anyone know the tip size on this club?  I am looking to extend a 4 hybrid to 5 wood length to get more length out of it.  I can't seem to hit fairways from the fairway and since hybrids are easy to hit, I wanted to extend the length of one and add some weight to it.

Thanks!

It depends on which shaft and which 08 Burner Rescue you have.  You can go to the Taylormade web site and look under the spec  section for the club you have and the tip diam is listed for each shaft.

Dann is right, you have to know which model and shaft.  Here is the link to the Rescues on TM's website.  Choose the pertinent model and then click on 'Specifications' and then find the shaft in your club...

WTF!  Bumping this thread.. just checked TM's website trying to find the tip size of my T2..

The high launch is a .370 tip and the tour launch (mine) is a .335 tip.. ??? Why a .335 on the tour model?? It's hard finding a .335 shaft for a hybrid!

I would double-check that diameter, it just seems contrary to everything else out on the market.  Of course, that would allow you to put a heavy weight shaft like a Blueboard 103X in it, but the amount you would need to tip is a big ??????

Itīs not unusual to have a .335" tip diameter on a hybrid head.
lebanontngolfer pointed it out well; now you have the ability to put in a fairway wood shaft. That should give you a slightly higher launch angle.Thereīre .335" versions of hybrid shafts as well.
