Is there really any difference between between mens and womens golf bags? The reason I ask is because I really like this Nike bag I saw in the store. So I came home to take another look at it and found out it was a womens bag. So would I be out of my mind to game a womens bag?

Looks like a men's bag to me?

Usually the only way to tell a woman's bag is that it is pink but don't tell that to Ian Poulter or ROBOTPI! ;)

Seriously though, if you dig it, game it, looks like a good carry bag to me.

Put some nice solid or striped Rocket Tour headcovers on your clubs and add a black or blood red towel then just stripe it down the middle of the fairway!

Nice!

the only difference is that a womens bag doesn't have as much room for balls

Nike has a line of women's golf attire that has the houndstooth styling to match this bag. But this styling is after menswear.

Here is a shirt that matches that bag: Nike Shirt. And here are the shorts: Nike Shorts They even have shoes: Nike Shoes

I like that bag. I also almost bought it a few times. I must say I almost bought it because it is not girly.

Good to know... glad I could get a female golfers opinion! I was with my g/f when I was looking at it and she was no help! I may pull the trigger on this soon or just wait till it goes on clearance ;)

Just like their clubs, womens bags are shorter than mens. I thought everyone knew this.

That's not true in a lot of cases (Callaway, Ping, etc.) if not all. I honestly haven't measured, but I find this unlikely except for maybe the bags that come w/ women's box sets.

Dude... just go in a golf store and look. The height difference is obvious (in ALL cases).

We'll try not to snicker... ;)

Actually, Sun Mountain ladies bags are 1" shorter.

Not so for the Titleist x86. The only difference is color.

These I'm familiar with because I just bought a new bag for my wife. Don't know about Nike or other brands.

Here is a similarly styled Ogio bag. I saw this and thought of you. I think this bag looks a little more masculine. The Ogio bags are really nice, IMO.

agreed on the ogio! I think they are the best looking bags on the market, the only thing that has stopped me from having one is that fact that they are so heavy.

Agreed Women specific bags are shorter, my significant other started playing about a year and half ago, she started with women’s clubs and bag, after her first custom fit she was moved up to men’s length clubs and the difference in the bag is clear, so before we traveled we actually changed her to a men’s bag for better protection. So before you pull the trigger you might want to verify the length of the bag.

I saw the Nike bag in question at Sports Authority tonight. It looked like the same height as the men's bags. But I did not measure.

Post the pic again-it is not here. Which Sun Mountain bag is it? I have the Sun Mountain Four 5 (men's bag) and it is awesome!

Those are both nice. The love taking my clubs to the range now since my bag is so light! I have this one:

It was expensive, but I was looking for a lightweight bag with full dividers. And my club ho'ing husband bought the Itsy-Bitsy the same day, so I was due a treat, too. :D I like the Sun Mountain bags over the Nikes. (But the Nikes are very nice and like I said I almost bought one a few times). My mom has totally beat up her Sun Mountain carry bag. It is dirty, but not torn up.

That would be a sweet combo. If you do it, post a pic.

I asked for Rockettour head covers in some combo of black and white or black and royal or royal and orange to go with my new bag. I hope I get them for Christmas so I do not have to buy them myself. And I hope that I can have the patience to wait for Christmas to find out.
