I have found that a lot of people (myself included) ask questions about what diameter size the hosel of a particular club is. Mostly because they want to change shafts and want to find out which tip size to get. Now, most manufacturers do not state this on their websites.
Often you will get answers rather quickly here from other members who know. But I have not found a thread, in which you can really read up those data for a lot of the most popular clubs models. So I thought I would try to give it a start. Some of the information comes from things I have read on this forum, some comes from manufacturers who actually do give this information.
What I know, or think I know (please correct me, if I am wrong):

All recent Callaway drivers: .350
Cleveland HiBore XL: .350
All Nike SQ models: .335
Ping G10: .350

More information is welcome.

I see a gap. There definitely is a gap.

Callaway drivers aren't really .350's, they will accept either 350's or 335's depending on which adaptor/ferrule you use. Stock shafts tend to be 350's though :)

Also PING is a bit odd, fairway woods are 358, it's amazing how poorly some of the shafts are put into PING heads because the 350 shaft is loose and they have been glued at a wonky angle....

my G10 3wood is 358, and it needed a 350 tip shaft and a strong 24hr glue and leaving in a fixed place for 24hrs as well....

yep, i agree about the ping, im currently waiting for a special collared ferrule for a ping rapture 3 wood fro a friend, even with the correct sized .350 tip shaft theres so much play in the hosel its ridiculous, theres no way of centering this shaft without a collared ferrule

Taylor Made hosels...

All TP Range woods - .335
all standard woods - .350
Irons - .355 Taper
Rescue TP - .355 Taper

Callaway Tour Authentic FT-5 Driver (TH / Hosel model) - .350

I realize that this is an old thread - Looked up the hozel size for the BIGGEST BIG BERTHA Driver and it's listed as a 335. Do I need to replace the insert too when reshafting...?

Mizuno JPX 800 irons and JPX Fli Hi: .355 taper
Amp cell irons graphite: .370, but I beleive they maybe universal/ I was able to put .355 taper with no movement at the bottom only a little play at the top, used glass beads to help out.

What insert are you reffering to?

I'm thinking about installing .355 taper tips into regular AMP irons, and I would assume it would be the same deal as with the AMP cells. You didn't even need to use shims to do this?

Nope, I fit .370 steel shaft in it to see what that was like and then compared that to the .355 and there wasnt much difference. Like I said there was no play at all at the bottom of the hosel and only minor movement at the top. Not sure if these are universal or not but with the glass beads it worked great, Ive had no problems at all.

Thanks for posting the link "lebonongolfer". I was wondering about the Olimar golf company. It seemed like they were bound for destiny but fell off the radar screen.

Also, It would be good to know if there is a site for driver head weight - This would help in reshafting.
