Im heading to vegas for a business summit on the 9th-13th of November and looking for any good deals for any good courses. I will be staying at Green Valley Ranch just off of the strip. Heard Royal links is pretty great. The resort website has links for Rio Socco, The Revere, and The Legacy. Any suggestions would help!

I just got back from there and played Reflection Bay and Las Vegas National. Unfortunately you are going at the start of the season down there so it will be more expensive and a good deal is only relative. That said, if you play LV National really early you can get a $79 round there. That's what I got for a Monday 6:40 am tee time. At Reflection Bay I got their twilight rate for $175 (but got to start 1/2 hour earlier on a Friday afternoon).
Reflection Bay is outstanding and deserves all the accolades it gets. The course was in perfect condition and if you have the cash it is worth it. The greens were about the most perfect that I have ever putted. The layout had tons of risk vs reward situations. The lines of play on each hole are mostly obvious, although not necessarily easy, and you simply have to choose your path and then execute your shots. Basically it is a super easy layout to follow but oh so challenging...
Las Vegas National was a good (slightly above average) course. For the $79 fee, which is dirt cheap for down there, it was worth it but don't expect anything more than an over average course. In its prime it looks like it would have been THE course to play in Vegas. But alas, times have changed and courses like Reflection Bay are now around. It was also cool to see all the throwback mansions around the course. A few of them even had Sinatra and other old Vegas music coming from inside which added to the ambience.

I will be in town from 14 March until the 18th and I just finished booking a foursome at Badlands golf course for $75 pp and we tee off at 12 (Mon 16). I think that was a decent find considering we are going to be there during a pretty busy weekend. Two of the guys are only going out because they said they would play once with us, they are average players, so we made a tee time that wouldn't waste too much of their money they had set aside for the tables. I am going to play on Tuesday morning as well but I am undecided as of right now. Any other ideas? I am thinking of just spending some coin and doing either Reflection bay or TPC Vegas, but I hear it (RB) might be closing or is in foreclosure, and that the conditions may be fair at best. The other course I was thinking of playing was

Badlands is the hardest course in Vegas - your average player friends will have their asses handed to them. Tell them to bring 1 ball for every handicap stroke (18 handicap = you better bring 18 balls).
Tuscany is in good shape and has deals on Golf-Now.
Primm Lakes is in GREAT shape and you can get cheap rates if you ask, its just a 45min drive from the strip.
Reflection Bay is always in good shape, even though it is having some terrible financial difficulties.
TPC Las Vegas is always prestine, more of a desert course.

Hi all, as you can see I'm a newbie to this site. I am just looking for a bit of info, myself and a few friends are coming over to Vegas in April, we are playing golf while we are there. One of the guys has booked a round at Silverstone and a round at Las Vegas National, obviously from this thread I can see that Vegas National is an 'ok' course, have any of you folks played Silverstone, if so what did you think of it?
