well, the good news about Vijay's boring win of the Fed Ex Cup is that it forces Finchem once again to go back and re-do the points system. it really could not have been more worthless, and no one's feeling it more than Timmy. and this year, much more than last year, really hammers home the point that the Tour Championship needs to determine the winner. without question.

so, let's at least be thankful for that. i know the Fed Ex Cup is not loved by all. but i think it's a bit ingenuous and cynical, as a golf fan, to say you think it sucks or is a waste. it can only make things more exciting. it's not going to be a major, but it's better than a bunch of random, unrelated fall tour events.

im glad its the top 30 or w/e but i really dont like the fact if you had a DECENT year and u win once, youre more than likely the winner.

i think even if tiger was still playing, it wouldnt be exciting..
