I got a pair of custom Oakley sunglasses last year and was dissappointed once they arrived to see that they HI Persimmon lense was like see-though. Now I am looking at getting another custom pair of Flak Jackets, and I was wondering if your eyes are seeable through the Fire Iridium XLJ lense? I am deciding between Fire Iridium XLJ and the Black Iridium XLJ, but any other suggestions would be much appreciated. Thanks, conorgolf

Just out of curiosity, why do the lenses have to be opaque? You playing poker in them or something.

Anyway, I have the Flak Jackets with the polarized black iridium lenses and love them.

Iridium lenses have the shiny finish so you cannot see through them when looking at someone wearing them. Any-non Iridium lenses you can see through, with maybe the exception of the ones with 8% light transmission.

the fire iridium can be see through if there is low light, or if you are looking at a certain angle.

the black iridium is never see through.

Oakley does have a "Golf Specific" lense G30 03-921. It looked like Ian Poulter was wearing them in his Flak Jackets during the Ryder Cup.
