Mickelson pulling his usual "Eh who cares I'm rich, if I lose its ok" routine
If this is his thinking, he kinda has a point, no?
Not really when it comes to playing for your country.
Easy now, only kidding. And in Mickelson's defense I really don't think that is his attitude, and neither should you without substantial evidence.

My substantial evidence is his past and current Ryder Cup play.
Case closed.

The momentum is not on the American's side.
Too many shakey players.
Weekley obviously has his math sewn up, but guys like Campbell and Cink and others are too damn shakey to rely on.

Looks like Perry is taking his Advil. Looks a little sore out there.

Nope, not good enough to close the case. So if a guy plays poorly, he automatically doesn't care? I certainly agree Mickelson hasn't played well in this or the last Ryder Cup, but that's not enough for me to fairly question his attitude.

Only bright spot is Ben Curtis picked up a hole.
My prediction was a 14-14 score at the beginning of the day and I see it going that direction.

What happened to JL's putter? Perhaps Paul shouldn't have sat him down yesterday afternoon?

He hasn't made a thing. And I thought he should have been in the last pairing. Shows what the hell do I know.

Yeah, I thought it was odd that Azinger would break up JL and Mahan for the afternoon's pairings yesterday?

momentum is gone.
Proof Mickelson doesn't care? Since 99, 2 wins in 16 matches.
He just doesn't care.

I hear ya, southside, but how can you be so sure it's because he doesn't care? Did you ever think that maybe it's because he just wasn't playing good golf? Or the pressure? Or one of about a thousand other reasons? I don't want to keep discussing this, I guess we'll just agree to disagree. I just think it's unfair to question his attitude without proof...

All of a sudden mahan is pulling a Mickelson.
That Mahan match would've won the American's the cup. Now the Cup is in the air.
Not good...

Amazing how he can play so well in those tournys when millions are on the line, but when it comes to playing for your country he stinks.
No such thing as coincidences.

Look at it objectively.
He had a 2 up lead for along time, then lost the lead quick and then chunked an iron 50 feet from the hole
That was falling apart.
The putt was remarkable, not like he was putting from 5 feet away.

I'm suprised Mahan let that get to him like that.
Hes normally such a cerebral player.
Very very suprised his caddy even let him take the big dog there.
Huge huge huge F up by mahan...

All mahan had to do was stripe a 3 wood, lay it up, birdie and win the damn hole.
Now Casey can win this dang thing, halve it, and put all the momentum back in the euro's hands.

The thing about the Euros, you can't think they MIGHT miss putts. THEY NEVER MISS THEM. EVER.
Thats why Sergio's miss was such a freaking shock.

Trust me, I hate being right about it.
As a junior golfer and playing in matches like these, I saw things like that quite a bit and it makes you sick.
