What schools use Titleist?

I am pretty sure Georgia and Stanford use Nike.

A lot of schools have moved away from Ping bags and towards Nike, TM, and Titleist. The quality of Hoofers have really gone down hill. It seems that every year at least three guys on my team have defective bags.

Yes, my hoofer extreme from 2004-2005 was a nice bag but it wasn't a team bag. Just a regular retail bag. Then, I get a team bag and not only is a p.o.s. It can't stand up on tile, because the stands can't support the weight. It can on carpet, but not tile.

The rod system for the legs falls apart and the material is much thinner and less padded. Cheap bag and I will be only keeping it to get college discounts at courses.

All you've got to do to get it to stand up on tile is put something rubber on the ends of the legs.

Yes, and then the base of the bag will slide backward. Gravity takes over for both scenarios. The structuring is obviously cheaper.

I could put rubber where the slipping happens, but it is not worth my effort because the bag will be soon retired. My bag is actually one of the better ones, because the other guys have bags that are really falling apart on them.

Stanford's teams (men and women) use Nike bags.

Out of interest, can you buy a College-branded bag anywhere? Or only on eBay if a college player wanted to sell it?

Alabama at least had Titleist bags. UVa had Titleist and I think now they are Nike. We had Hoofer's and J-Bag's when I played

The number of Nike and Titleist bags are picking up. I think the new PING bags aren't very good. I am still using the Hoofer 2. We had J Bags and Hoofers when I was in school. At that time only the schools that were sponsored used bags other than PING.

You can buy bags from retail, they cost more because of the custom colors/embroidery/silk screen. Also they won't sell certain ones because of copyright stuff that costs too much to cover.

Ping Golf Bags

Nike has what they call they're collegiate bookstore, but I can't find any online info.

I can't find any info on Titleist

Sun Mountain makes Titleist's bags...

So I guess in some sense they do.

When we used to play against Maryland they had Hoofers. Granted, that's probably changed 8 times since then.
You can't buy the same bag college teams use. It's kind of like how you can't buy the same basketball or football jersey, it's just a replica, but the golf bags look even less like the real ones than the jerseys do. For example, most of the Ping bags you can't buy are for teams who don't even carry ping bags, or if they do, they are a complete different color. University of South Carolina's bag for example, looks nothing like the bag you can buy. Also, most bags have the player's name on it, so often time they won't sell them or if they did, it would look funny if your bag had some random person's name on it.
