Has anyone tried the 3 way jacket? Do you know where you can purchase it online other than the adidas site (they appear to have limited stock)?

I was very under impressed. Looking forward to it, but feels very cheap. The inside feels like a trash bag.

I had to take the liner out of mine. It was way too tight. Breathing is never under-rated.

I wore it on Saturday to my kid's football game in a downpour. Stood outside for 2 hours in the pouring rain in the jacket and pants (yes, I wore golf shoes as well. water-proof is water proof, right? )

I think I was the driest person there.

Was the size of the jacket smaller than the size would indicate or was it just the liner? Normally any outerwear I've bought from Adidas has run big. I wear XL in shirts, but L in jackets fit better. I'm about to order one of these jackets and would like to know about the sizing before I order it. Thanks.

I wear M everything Adidas (JL - Large...if that helps as a reference)
I found the jacket to be a good fit, the inner liner makes it feel tight around the stomach area and the arms are a tad long for my liking.

now if I can only figure out what the small hood/pocket things on the left chest is supposed to do...

I have credit at a couple different courses that have Adidas accounts, I was going to order through one of them. As you have seen the Adidas website always seems to be out of colors and/or sizes. So find a course or a shop with an Adidas account.

i'm, um, a little round in the middle. When I was in my 20's I was a medium, and sometimes a small, but now I need a L to fit around me. So the jacket is long in the sleeves, but fits everwhere else once I take the liner out. If I lost 20 lbs the line would fit fine.

I believe the pocket on the chest is for your scorecard.

It's actually to keep your grip dry prior to hitting a shot.

^ That's what I had initially thought...however the pocket is really a "hood" with a velcro strap on the bottom side...to me I could only think of A. keep the glove on the hand and put my whole hand underneath the pocket to keep the hand dry...or B. keep the grip of the club under the pocket to keep it from getting wet...I guess Adidas wanted people to get creative :D... unfortunately its not a pocket that will hold anything...

I recently got one in black and I wear XXL. I, too, had to remove the liner (girdle) in order to breathe. Then, it fits just fine. It does have kind of an unfinished look to it on the inside, but I guess it has to be that way to expose all the zippers and ventilation. Its extremely light weight, not at all bulky. If its cold I think I'll need a sweater under it.

But it looks like it will be very functional in wet weather. :good:

Try this place! They have the jackets in the three colors and a pretty good selection of sizes! Not to mention they're cheaper than the Shop.Adidasgolf.com site!

Hope this helps!

I liked these so much when I first saw them (hate the usual oversized rain jackets) that I bought two in different colors. A little bit of impulsive shopping on my part - will likely put the unused one in the For Sale section here.

Fit is great - sleeves are a little long and not as tight as I'd like but I suppose that cannot be helped. It is tight around the stomach with the lining but that only reminds me that I need to get in shape. As mentioned previously, it's very light weight and I find it keeps me fairly well in the late evenings here in the Bay Area.

From a sizing perspective, I tend to wear Adidas in M and this one is just right. Small was just too tight and the Large was way oversized for me.

I just got one in Large. It's a bit small for me. I ordered large instead of XL because the rest of my Adidas gear is large. The one XL pullover I have is huge on me. I ordered this with some credit I had at a club out of state and the guy went through a lot of trouble to get it for me. Adidas won't swap it since I didn't order it directly from them. Hopefully I can take it somewhere with an Adidas account and send it back for an XL. If not, guess I'll have to lose 10 pounds. haha The jacket is nice and I like the idea of only having to pack one jacket that's good for all conditions.
