Since the remodel of Bellerieve CC in St. Louis, I've had a hard time breaking 80 from the blue tees which is shorter than what they are playing this week and Jim Furyk goes out and shoots 62! That's just sick! I play to a 6.5 index and I don't think that I could reach a bunch of the par 4's in two let along the par 5's. He's not even that long compared to most as his driver swing speed is only around 110-115.

Oh, and to see VJ get on the 601 yrd 17th with a driver & 3 wood Friday was unbelievable! 335 off the tee after two days of rain totaling 3 inches. It's just not fair!

Absolutely impressive round from any tees but this round was with many of the tees up. Still a great round. I am a member at Bellerive and never thought they would be able to reach 17 in softer conditions. It's unreal to see these guys reaching 17 in two! The other unbelievable thing was the clubs they were hitting on the Par 3 16th once they finally moved the tees to the back box (approx. 232 yds.) A lot of 4 irons and 3 irons.
