Not to long ago I have a post on how I missed breaking 90 by a shot (I had a 90) and well today that time has come broke 90 and nearly broke 80. 83. Everything was on line today driving chipping putting. Long Irons I didnt have to touch above an 8. What a great day =D. So im wondering how long did it take most of the juniors on here to reach a score of lower 80s? I did it in 8 monts.

Congratulations flo. Definitely a barrier that many people still want to break, or remember how good it felt whn they did break 90, 80, and 70 for the first time. Lets see, my first round on the golf course must have been when I was for my 11th Birthday, and I remember shooting 87 that November. This was of course from the ladies tees because I was still a little tike, so it took me from August 3rd in 2001 until sometime in Early November to break 90 for the first time. I know these barriers are great to break it definitely gets nerve racking when you're borderline going to make that particular score coming down to the last hole. Congratulations again, my goal this year is to break 70 4 or more times this summer! So we'll see

Yea well done it is a great feeling. I can't remember the first time i broke 90 or 80 but it is a great feeling. I haven't got a score i want to break this year i just want to get my handicap down.

Yeah, the key now is to keep your scores there. If you can break say in your case 90, you for sure broke it with flying colors, so if you can just focus on keeping your scores there, that will be the ultimate thing.

Congrats Flo! Feels good don't it? I remember when I broke 100, 90, and 80. Still have to break 70, but hopefully that comes soon. As a golfer, making a goal means you have another goal you want to hit, you're never happy. Let us know when you skip breaking 80 and break 70 instead!

Once you break the 90 it seems like breaking 80 is much easier and will come in no time

I dont remember the first time i broke 100,90,80 those were a long time ago but i remember when i broke 70...itr was 2 summers ago...this past summer i set my courses record with a 68. that felt really good ... i have my name up in the grill room now...it sweet
