aking Smart Buying Decisions - Helping Maverick Buy A Push Cart
A recent post to the Sand Trap.com forum posed an interesting question. The forum member asked how to choose between $99 dollar push cart from Bagboy, and a more expensive $180 Speed Cart from Sun Mountain. The conundrum he faced is a good one to investigate. Fundamentally the golfer must always choose between price and performance. The main question is how much of this decision is real and how much is subtle coercion by marketing mavens trying to grab a few extra dollars. With a little homework and an old-fashioned legal pad, you can usually figure out what extra-features drive the cost up. Remember, it's the job of the marketer to get you to spend more, so once you determine the overall cost range, you can start to match your budget and needs, with what you're getting.
