• Customized to fit each individual player and stroke
• Length, lie, weight and grip options like those available in Cameron’s studio
• Muted, Tour-proven “Pro Platinum” finish won’t distract eyes from the ball or target
• Newport-style head, hosel and sightlines for tried-and-true results

Nice "Pro Platinum"...Here are some better pics of a Newport "Mil Spec" Pro Platinum.

This is what the sole should look like.......note the "Specs"

You don't have the spec's on the bottom because you don't have a "Mil Spec". You have just a regular Pro Platinum. It's two different "lines" that Cameron came out with.

I bought a Mil-Spec as a backup for my Pro-Platinum 009 as I heard that the Mil-Spec was the most similar OTR to a 009. From addess they are both very similar especially with the thick topline, which I have come really like with the 009. Mine is a 35"/330 gram with the standard loft and lie (same as my 009). The Mil-Spec is a great putter, it has a very nice feel and sets up great.

Just received my first Mil Spec and played today for the first time. This is the best feeling Scotty that I have played and have played at least 3-4 other models. Am selling the rest of my Scotty's and this will be my putter for life.

My only worry is making sure this baby is never stolen for lost by my friends at Northwest Airlines!!

Unfortunately you can't order one. They haven't been made for retail sale since 2002. Your best bet would be ebay or here in the For Sale/WTB section.

They are on eBay all the time. The price seems to fluctuate as well. I might buy one a little beat up and have it refinished in oil can. Solid putters and as close to the 009 as you can get without the pricey-tag.

I,ve had a Mil-Spec putter for past 8 yrs and decided a new paint job was in order.
The Titleist, ball line and lie on the back are painted black.

Hope you like it.
