Golfers seeking the best fairway wood performance money can buy will get it in the r7 CGB Max fairway. Incredibly forgiving and easy to launch high and long, it is also adjustable to promote increased distance and accuracy. The r7 CGB Max fairway wood incorporates TaylorMade’s Moveable Weight Technology (MWT) with three weights promoting up to 22 yards of change from side to side allowing for a broad range of movement and improving more players accuracy and distance. The club’s triangular shape has a CG (center of gravity) that is amazingly far back from the face making the club easy to launch high and long. The large titanium clubhead has an exceptionally high MOI (moment of inertia) for a tremendously stable, forgiving and easy to hit fairway wood. Finally, the club features SuperFast Technology with an extremely light RE*AX 45 gram shaft and light overall club weight promoting faster swing speed for added distance.

I have been hitting this driver for a few months now and the more I use it, the more I LOVE it. It has a good feel in the hands. Hitting a solid shot is easy to do, and when contact is made, wow, what a sound. Many people are not fans of this series, but I have been impressed.

OMG I have owned this pile of steaming crap for a year. Makes me want to quit the game. And if you really want the full experience from this turd on a rope make sure you get it with the "SUPER FAST TECHNOLOGY". Oh what a joy it is to have a 45 gram stiff shaft. All I can say is WOO HOO!!!

Got one of these today - 45g stiff shaft, doesn't quite sound right does it ?

Very mixed results at the range tonight, needs a reshaft to get the best for my swing i'm sure.

*****UPDATE*****

Reshafted with the Prolaunch Red. MUCH better club. Comes off the face hot and is very forgiving on mishits. NOW its a Taylor Made. The superfast technology is probably the worst idea for a shaft.

Had another session at the range last night, bit better than my first impressions but still not right. Got a Graffloy Blue Tour 73g in a Regular coming - these play a bit stiffer than stated, and with it being a notorious low launch shaft it should sort mine out too. Thanks for the update

I LOVE this club although the shaft is a bit light.
With my age of 14 i manage to hit allmost every shot far and up to 290 meters. If fell like I am having full control of the ball when hitting it

I recently picked up the R7 CGB Max Limited at Golfsmith for $214 ($254 - 40 credit). I got the 9.5* in stiff flex. My current set up is the whiteboard with 1,16,1 weight set up and all I can say is WOW. It's not quite as long as my Nickent 4DX Tour Spec, but the thing just goes straight. Distance loss is only about 5 to 10 yards, but I'll take it because I'm hitting about 80% of the fairways with it. I also like the Rombax 75 but I'll have to play with the weights a little to get it where I want it. The XCON 5 just doesn't work for me.

I can honestly say that this is the easiest driver to hit that I have ever gamed. The 415 cc head is perfect in size. The triangle shape is rounded nicely on the Limited and I'm starting to like the red to black look at address. Hard to beat at what I paid for it with 3 high end shafts, TP weight kit, and two TM wrenches.
