Will be staying in Onekama next week and plan on returning to the Heathlands which I have played before. Anyone have experiance or recommendations on the two courses at Manistee National.

I will second Arcadia Bluffs. I played it a couple weeks ago and it was awesome.

I'm sure Arcadia is great, but somehow it doesn't look friendly to a 16 index. :scare:

It doesn't matter if you are a 30 hdcp, you will have the time of your life at Arcadia. It is absolutely the best. Actually, it will not beat you up too badly other than on the greens.

OK, I give. I have aways heard that. I see Golf Mag ranked it 26th year again. Having never played a top 100 course before, could anyone describe why it is so good?

Problem is no one else in our family get together is as serious about the game myself, and they would never spend that kind of money on golf. The $65 courses are going to cause shock to them. I may have to walk on at the 4:00 twilight as a single and hope for the best.

I am an 11 handicap and I had a great time there, I didn't score to bad either. The greens are huge and thats where I had trouble. Four three putts ( 3 of them for bogey) doesn't help the score. The fairways are pretty wide. The views this course has are awesome. Here are a couple pics I took while I was there. If you have any more questions just let me know.
