The "featured group" HD channel is great!!

Yesterday watched Els, Couples and Scott through their round.

And today Kim, Sergio and Villegas.

Gotta love Directv having four, separate, dedicated HD channels for this major.

I think Directv may have done this before....but this is the first time i've been home to catch it.

If they planned on doing this in the future, it would definitely pique my subscription interest. Do they have announcers too or is it just the noises of the game?

I am currently a directtv subscriber, and this feature is outstanding.

That being said, i have had lousy service from them since i bought my hd receiver. Starts and stops in coverage, stutters in the sound, and picture issues. They have never been able to fix it, and they dont help me when i call in. Beware when signing a long term contract with them.

I am patiently waiting for my directtv contract to run out so that I can get a different service. I am very disappointed too, becuase I always loved my direct tv, but since the hd went in.....direct tv stopped earning their money in my house.

I know they did the same for the masters I'm not sure about the Opens I did not watch those on direct tv. Yes It is a really cool feature that digital cable does not have, and for those of you who get sunday ticket and are fantasy football players direct tv has some great features built in for that as well

also on pga.com

I am really a fan of the announcers, I would much rather listen to these guys as opposed to Jim Nanz tomorrow. these guys seem to give some good perspective.

I really wish they could get players to wear mic's so we can hear what they say during their round. Would be a whole new aspect into what they are thinking.

We also need the ball cam!
