I still vote for the Lexus commercial that makes no sense. Whenever that comes on it convinces me that I suddenly need to leave the room to go use the restroom, get food, whatever.

"Slow down big fella. Sure the new G10 driver is long but you'll get your lunch handed to you."

AWESOME commercials

..and true. I've smoked that G10 driver a few times where I turned around to my playing partners and wondered, "Did I just do that?" Then I'll go shank a 60* and snap back to reality.

Golf related - the bloody Titleist NXT adverts with John Cleese pretending to be a Scotsman blethering on about banning them. Does my nut in every time, hope that this former giant of comedy was well paid for this torture.

Non golf related - bloody DFS sofa summer sale with a selection of idiots miming to Nickelback's "Rock Star," a song I didn't have much of an opinion on before but now absolutely despise to my very core. (Hopefully this is UK only.)

It is time to retire that Zurich "FORE" commercial, it only airs 10-20 times a day for the last two years. I think they got their money's worth JEEZ.

The Travelers umbrella ad is just plain WEIRD.

Question about the Lexus commercial: Anni, Chi Chi and Chaz all jump in and peel out, but Raymond hands the keys over. What's up with that?

On the other hand, FEDEX commercials are the BEST!

The one with the Boss' secretary taking the call from him calling in sick is classic.

I think my favorite ad on TGC is the FedEx ad at 'Mr. Delaney's office'. The one where he calls in, and everyone keeps standing up and down with their golf bags. The guy directly in the background who keeps putting his hat on and taking it off makes me crack up.

Yeah, this commercial being played over and over again is driving me crazy. It makes me want to take a sharp object and stick it in my eyes and ears and swirl it around, haha

the thing about that one is that raymond floyd isn't even driving. what the hell is he doing in that commercial if he's not even driving. i can just imagine the person who pitched that one:

"annika sorenstam, charles howell, chi chi rodriguez and raymond floyd's chauffeur driving round in circles in a car park... catch my drift? how are our sales not gonna go up?"

also, speaking of amex commercials, as a brit i cannot understand why ellen degeneres is so famous and popular. and why oprah is the most powerful celebrity in the world. in the uk talk show hosts are lucky if they get to do cheap car insurance adverts

How about any SLAZENGER ball commercial? Raw meat shakes? Some tool driving a par 4 and spinning the ball like a wedge with his driver.

I remember when that Slazenger Raw commercial first aired. I had to rewind it like 9 times and watch it over again. My daughter walks up behind me and says: Dad, did that guy just drink a glass full of liquefied raw meat?

So I rewound it, and sure enough, he does. The the "beast" of a man says "what was that 220?" Then the other guy cranks it 356 and lands it next t the hole?

So if you want to be good apparently you have to:

1. Drink raw meat
2. Be in with the demonic shack girl that hates other people except asshats like you.
3. Make fun of other people's golf game.
4. Hit it 350 on the fly 1 inch from the hole.

Because Ellen is down to earth and can actually relate to real people. She might be a millionaire but does not care. Oprah on the other hands always shows how much money she has. She might do good things with it, but she always makes sure that everyone knows just how much she gives. Ellen is actually approachable.

That guy is creepy as hell, I wouldn't let him anywhere near my kids or my circus freaks.

It seems like all the golf commercials are bad now. The TGW ads look like they were made by a 7th grader w/ his camera phone, the Justin Rose Burner thing is just lame, I hope a bomb falls on the Villages and I wish that black slazenger cat would eat the meat heads and the pencil necks both.

I can't think of any more off the top of my head, but I really don't understand how the Golf channel is even on the air any more. I love golf and even I don't watch it because all they show is grabage 99% of the time and then in between the garbage I have to see commercials that make my stomach burn and make me feel like the Unabomber makes a lot of sense.

I can't believe no one has posted this one. This commercial drives me insane after a while. Especially when it gets stuck in your head. AAAHHHHHHHHHH!!!

Well I was shopping for new car
which ones me?
A cool convertable
or an SUV
Too bad I didn't know my credit was wack
Because I'm driving off the lot in a used sub-compact
F-R-E-E that spells free
credit report dot com baby

saw their ads on my TV
thought about going but was too lazy
Now instead of looking fly and rolling fat
My legs are sticking to the vinyl and my posse getting laughed at
F-R-E-E that spells free
credit report dot com baby

With linky goodness

Got to concur with many here: the Slazenger, Lexis, and Travelers commercials all drive me nuts.

On the other hand, one of my favorites is the USGA (I think) commercial in which a young junior girl gets paired with a salty old dude, and then smokes him. I love the closing quip where he tosses his kit in the drink, only to remember his keys were in there. Awesome.

I just love how Johnny Miller even comes off as a jerk in the hyper-X commercial, "sure if you can afford the 2 penalty strokes". The way he putts anyone can afford the 2 strokes.

That Lexus commercial was filmed here in Tampa? It didn't look like any parking garage downtown. Where was it?

Stack and Tilt commercial needs to go away. Sorry, big swing changes like that and you're gonna teach me it via a DVD and a little pamphlet? No thanks.

I'll never buy a Lexus after their stupid commercial. They've probably lost more business than gained after that little advertising meltdown.

The best commerials I have seen is they Taylormade driver's one with Garica, Weir, and Rose when they take their driver out of the bag it does the sword sound! ya baby thats what i'm talkin about. O and the one with Phil on the putting green at night when all the other guys are hitting balls on the range. Yea i'm sure phil is doing that, cuz you can tell this year his putter is his go to club!
