I've got a friend who uses this putter, and he is a phenomenal putter. His distance control is amazing; it might be him and not the putter, but the putter doesn't hurt :idhitit:

After playing a tough 18 hole course in Hilton Head today, I have to say that on fast greens (Stimp11), that hold irons and are beautifully maintained, my Odyssey White Hot kept me in the game all the way. Total putts 29, and lags got me close. It looked the best chice while on the practice green, and proved to be the right putter for the Berkely Hall greens. A Beautiful golf course. :clapping:

odyssey makes the best insert putters in golf. i previously played a scotty cameron studio style newport 2 and the odyssey is much better imo. it sounds weird because the odyssey is $80 and the scotty is more than 3x that, but its true.

I have the Odyssey White Hot Tour #1 and I love it. My distance control has improved greatly and I just feel more comfortable working with a blade instead of the mallet I had before. It seems to be very forgiving by not totally killing distance on off-center hits.

I have the Tour 2 model and love it. I have used nothing but big headed putters for several years ...a Ping Doc 17 (potato masher) and an Odyssey 3-Ball. I know now what feedback from a putter is all about. The Tour 2 will stay in my bag for sure!

I just picked up a White Hot XG #9, can't wait to get out there and try it. Walking into the store my heart was with the Ping Zing, but I actually eliminated that one first, as well as eventually a Cleveland Classic #3 and a White Hot XG #1. They were all nice but...bottom line...I sank the most with the #9. I've never owned a putter of this type and had no idea this was "Mickelson's baby" in '06 (till I went on the Odyssey web site once I got home). Hopefully once I hit the course I will be just as satisfied!
