Long story short, I've got a bunch of old style Footjoy Classics that I used to wear a lot a decade ago but haven't worn in years. They are styles they don't make anymore, and I was thinking about breaking them out again but the soles are pretty beat up and probably couldn't survive more than couple rounds. I know Footjoy does repair and resoling of Classics, but I've never heard from anyone who's actually used the service.
Anybody out there tried it? They don't list a cost on their website, any ideas? What was the turnaround time like? How did the shoes turnout afterwards?
And what about shoes that are from the pre-Classic Dry Premiere era that have the full leather sole? Do they replace it with another full leather sole, or does it get updated to the new part leather/part rubber sole?
