...not that I have anything against Oakleys but the price tag on them is a little too much for me.

Do any of you know of a pair of golf specific sunglasses that fit asian faces (wider head, no or very small nose bridge, flatter face) well? Most of the Oakley and other wrap/jacket models in other brands don't sit well on the nose and come way out in front of the eyes letting too much light in from the top.

I'm going to try on some of the Nike's today so my fingers are crossed. As much as I want to, I don't have access to try on any Tifosis or Rudy Projects though I'd like to know how those fit as well. Anyway, thanks for any feedback.

Cheers.

I love my pair of Sundog sunglasses. Same issue with me -- no bridge. My model # is 47051. The list price was around $48.

This brand is best known because of Paula Creamer, but they make men's glasses too.

If you go on the Oakley website, they have a section for Asian Fit glasses. I know the price can be a bit discouraging, but, as an avid wearer for over 10 yrs., I can tell you it is a worthwhile investment.

Just an opinion...good luck with the search

The price can be a stretch, but I am a true believer in Maui Jims. I will never, EVER wear anything else - the Mauis are worth every penny and then some for Whites, Blacks, Asians, Latinos, Jews, Gentiles, and Arabs.

:D :D :D

In all seriousness, they are marvelous sunglasses.

I just purchased Tifosi glasses and they are great value and excellent glasses, although I don't know how they fit different face shapes. I noticed you are in Vancouver where the Canadian distributor is located. G and G Golf at 800-661-0045 or locally at 604-857-4969. In Canada they seem to be sold at only a few golf courses but the company is very helpful.

If you want a lightweight pair that hugs the face and aren't too expensive, check the Serengeti brand. The Alto and Stratus models are super lightweight just like Maui Jim's. They're photochromic and polarized as well

Oakleys stay on your face with a nice fit (Asian fit may be even better but I have standards); check out eBay and the price will surprise you. I've got the Asian bridge and they work great for me. Good luck!

Try SWANS (if you can find them). Tried some on for the first time last week and they seem to fit my big head much better than Oakleys. Nose bridge section was roomy. Just haven't heard much about the company.

A buddy of mine owns his own optometry store and carries Oakleys, Maui Jims, Serengetis, Nike and can order Rudy's. Problem is, he, and almost every other store here, doesn't stock the golf specific lenses or styles - they can order it in but I'd like to try them on first.

I'd love to look into the Oakley line of asian fit and will still consider it but so far, most have largish arms which leave leave a sexy tan line across my temples. Maybe that'll mach my shirt tan.

nodoubles: THANK YOU!!! I've been looking for Tifosi and at thier price, was just going to order and it and hope it works since they're very affordable. Now I can go check them out. I'll give G & G a shout.

Thanks guys for all your feedback! Hopefully I'll be able to see where I'm hitting soon. ;)
