Nice course. Was there once and played the North course, also a Crenshaw design. Loved Talking Stick. On the back nine the sun was beginning to set and my buddy and I witnessed 4 to 5 wild horses running in the desert, right beyond the boundry of the course. It was a sight to see. I felt like I was in some Disney movie or something. It was great. Love Scottsdale!!

Played the south course last sunday, nice layout fairly open with a decent amount of bunkers. Some nice risk/reward holes especially the 18th 320 yrd par 4 with water down the whole right side. The fairways were in good shape but I would not expect much less from a Troon managed course. However the greens were cut pretty close and extremley bumpy and not much fun to put on. They held shots great but putting was more of a hit and pray.
