It's pretty questionable so to whether those are authorized Callaway irons.

My apologies golfsll...My initial post probably came across a bit harsh...Can you comment on the X22's a compared to the early prototypes posted in that link? Do they look similar? Does the background in the cavity look the same? Thanks

If they really look alot like those epons then i am very excited. I love my fusions but I think the look of those epons are cool. Always liked that model by them when I saw it on tourspec and also on a site where some guy named gocchin does reviews. Really sharp. A cally similar design would be crazy.
Those 22 version knockoffs in the other link look horrid. Glad they are just some fake crap and not a real cally design. (unless I am going to buy flowered capri pants and prance around)

I had the pleasure of hitting with the new X22s at a demo day at the PGA store in Duluth,ga this past Wed. I had seen the spy pics of the 22s and felt the "22" on the club made them look cheesy! BUT, they do not look bad at all. I am mid to high handicapper and have just started playing....But, here is my take on the 22. The uniflex shaft is lighter in this series compared to the 20. The sweet spot seems to be larger or at least the ball seems to rocket off the club easier than the 20 due to the small increase of weight behind the club face. The hit of the club seemed to have very little vibration through the shaft compared to the 20. They weren't big and bulky like the big bertha line or nike sumos but had nice forgiving feel to them. So, that's my take on the X22's for what it's worth.

The Callaway rep fitted me and I ordered a set of X22's from the factory for $699 plus tax and shipping....and I recieved a $60 dollar gift card for the pga store. My custom set is plus 1/2" with 2 degrees flat and plus 1 wrap. I was hitting the ball a little close to the hosel of the club and then he changed me to the 2 degrees flat and I was hitting it center. Does the 2 degrees flat actually represent the change of the shaft angle to the club face?

Thanks,
Drake
