So Tiger has played 6 events won 4 times and taken 2nd once. One of his wins was the US Open, will he win player of the year? If not who will win and how will they pull it off.
For my money I say Tiger is at worst tied for the PGA tour lead in wins at the end of the year, someone like Phil could win a couple of more and possibly a major, in this case he might win, but I contend that this is unlikley and that no one wins 4 with a major.

Depends......
What if Phil were to win the British and/or the PGA, plus a few other events for the remainder of the year???
Then, you got to give him the nod.
